After the 2006-07 season, the US Ski Team decided to drop men's ski jumping and remove all support. This was obviously a disappointment to the athletes in the program along with the entire ski jumping community around the United States. To overcome this obstacle a non profit organization was developed called Ski Jumping Development USA, Inc. Marketed as USA Ski Jumping (USASJ) the purpose was to support the ongoing efforts of men's ski jumping in the United States from the club level all the way to international competition. Founded by Alan Johnson, a generous amount of supporters stepped forward to help keep the great sport of ski jumping alive in the US.

 

After a couple of years of accepting check donations it was decided that USASJ needed to expand their donation capabilities. In 2009 Access Payment Systems was excited to provide USASJ with all the tools necessary to accept donations for both credit cards and electronic checks or officially known as ACH processing. Not only was this going to expand their donation capabilities but it would also help with the retention of donors, since they were able to have automated recurring giving offered to their donors.
